Impact / A program of Rebel Roots
A meaningful life can extend
beyond the life we build
for ourselves.
Personal development. Wider access. A stronger foundation for the work.

Individual growth.
Shared possibility.
Rooted Empowerment was created within Rebel Roots, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with a purpose larger than private practice: to make empowerment, education, leadership development and practical resources accessible to more people.
Private Rooted Empowerment programs generate earned revenue intended to help strengthen and sustain the organization. Charitable gifts, grants and institutional support can extend that foundation through broader access and mission-aligned work.
The private experience stands on the quality of the service itself. Its wider purpose is part of the organization’s model, not an additional obligation for the client.
The model
Individual growth
Thoughtful private work, shaped around one person’s priorities.
Earned revenue
Payment for that service contributes to the organization’s revenue.
A stronger foundation
Sustainable capacity supports the development and continuity of the work.
Broader access
Gifts, grants and partnerships can help extend resources and opportunities further.

What do I want the next chapter
to contribute?
Contribution has many forms.
It may mean a relationship given more attention, a skill passed on, a creative work, a community role, mentorship, service, teaching or philanthropy. It may also mean a quieter contribution that matters deeply to a few people.
Personal growth does not need to culminate in a donation. The individual defines what contribution means—and whether it belongs in the current chapter at all.

Founded by Leslie Brewer
Practical work.
A human purpose.
Leslie’s approach connects lived experience, education and practical problem-solving. Rooted Empowerment gives that approach an individualized framework; Rebel Roots creates room for the broader work of access, education and opportunity.
The wider mission grows from the same question as the private experience: what would make this useful in a real life?

A mission worth
understanding clearly.
For people evaluating Rebel Roots professionally, the foundation is a clear account of the mission, program direction, funding priorities and organizational information.
Grant-related materials, reports and partnership opportunities belong alongside the work itself. Claims about results should be supported by actual records.

Impact should be
shown through real work.
As programs develop, Rebel Roots intends to report the work delivered, the resources used and what participants choose to share about their experience.
- Access
- Scholarships awarded and people served, once an approved program operates.
- Education
- Resources distributed, workshops delivered and community programming.
- Projects
- Funded activities, their purpose and their delivery status.
- Learning
- Participant feedback, consented stories and aggregate outcomes defined for each program.
No impact totals are published here yet. Measures, reporting periods and collection methods will be established before results are presented.
